NABCRMP Industry Workgroups and Committees are smaller groups of subject matter specialists with expertise in a specific industry and/or compliance/risk management issue. Workgroup/Committee members assist NABCRMP by developing policy statements, advising on issues important to relevant industries and risk specialties, training, and informing NABCRMP members of regulatory updates.
Workgroup/Committee members may provide a voice for NABCRMP on the federal or state level when invited or may be asked to speak at specific conferences and events on behalf of NABCRMP.
Industry Workgroups and Committees are led by group chairs and vice chairs. Industry Workgroup and Committee leaders are selected from the general NABCRMP membership on a first-come first serve basis and serve for a one-year term. Committee Members and Workgroup Members must be in Active status throughout the length of time of the Committee and Workgroup duration. Most workgroups/committees meet bimonthly via conference call and, pending availability of funding, may meet in person annually. Workgroup members may spend anywhere from 1-2 hours per month to 1-2 hours per week on tasks related to workgroup deliverables.
Our leadership committees join board members and NABCRMP members to help plan events, fundraise, develop content, and work together for the benefit of the organization. Our committees are also where we recruit our next board members. Our committees currently include the following:
